Aims
Closer To Truth is a content-driven broadcast and digital media not-for-profit organization. On the air continuously since 2000, the weekly, half-hour television show airs on over 200 PBS and public television stations.
Closer To Truth’s resource-rich website features over 4,000 video interviews with world-renowned scientists and philosophers searching the vital ideas of existence. It is the definitive source for cosmos, consciousness and meaning (God), exploring profound questions of universe, brain/mind, religion, and the search for ultimate reality and purpose.
Among the main purposes: spread the dialogue on fundamental issues for human existence; show different points of view; share opinions; stimulate the search for personal answers on universal topics.

Closer to truth has been created and written by Robert Lawrence Kuhn, and co-created, produced and directed by award-winning filmmaker Peter Getzels.
It develops many partnerships and alliances: PBS and public television stations; philanthropic organizations including the John Templeton Foundation; academic research institutes like FQXi; educational resources for K-12 teachers associated with the American Federation of Teachers' Share My Lesson; and digital news and science magazines like The WorldPost, Space.com and LiveScience.com.

The Closer To Truth television program is a series on Cosmos, Consciousness and Meaning, a global journey in search of the vital ideas of existence. It counts 14 seasons of episodes on Cosmos, Consciousness, and Meaning being broadcast. Each season, hosted by Robert Lawrence Kuhn, consists of 13 episodes and each episode lasts 30-minutes.
Closer To Truth website provides a user-friendly platform where you can browse, learn and immerse yourself through intimate access to the world’s greatest thinkers exploring humanity’s deepest questions.
